Eric L Anderson, Director & Founder

Eric grew up in Bremerton and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the United States Naval Academy in 1972.  Eric is the owner of Art Anderson Associates, a family business for over 50 years in Bremerton, and has a passion for the challenges facing Kitsap businesses.  Eric and his firm are deeply involved in transportation planning and design of projects throughout the United States.  He is also Chairman of the Bremerton Housing Authority Board of Commissioners.


Richard C. Darrow, President and Chief Executive Officer

Richard (Rick) has over 25 years of senior management experience in Banking.  He graduated from the University of Washington in 1981 with a degree in Business Administration.  Upon graduation, he earned his CPA certification while employed with Pannell Kerr Forster, an international accounting firm.  Rick started his banking career in 1985, his experience includes University Savings Bank, Enterprise Bank, Washington Mutual, Charter Bank, and Boston Private Financial Holdings.  Rick was a Founding Executive of Charter Bank, a community bank formed in Bellevue, Washington in 1997.  After 10 years of sustained growth, Charter Bank was sold to Boston Private Financial Holdings.  Rick served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.  As current President of Liberty Bay Bank, Rick is committed to building this community bank into the most highly regarded bank in Kitsap County.


James A. Ferris, Director & Founder

After graduating with honors from Eastern Oregon State University in 1974, Jim returned to the Puget Sound area.  Jim founded Ferris Mechanical which served commercial and domestic customers on the three largest San Juan Islands.  In 1988, he sold the firm and went on to garner experience as a Staff Engineer and Project General Manager with Brown & Root of Texas and most recently acted as Regional Director for business development with Utilities and Municipalities on the West Coast.  He owns MAC Technical Services, LLC, a professional consulting company offering services primarily to Fortune 500 engineering and construction firms.


Marie Gallagher, Director & Founder

Marie has been a well known real estate broker in Kitsap County and the surrounding areas for 33 years.  She has a Bachelor's degree in Institution Administration from Penn State University and a Bachelor's degree in Education from Western Washington University.  She built her own firm, Marie Gallagher and Associates affiliating with Coldwell Banker, to become one of the most respected and productive real estate companies on Bainbridge Island.  Over the years, Marie has served in numerous civic and real estate leadership positions throughout Washington.  Having sold her company, she remains actively involved in the real estate in Kitsap and Jefferson Counties.  Marie looks forward to continuing her service and to the ongoing success of Liberty Bay Bank.


Klaus Golombek, Director & Founder

Klaus and his family emigrated from Germany and arrived in Salt Lake City in early 1964.  He began his banking career in an apprenticeship at CommerzBank in Düsseldorf and continued with Continental Bank and Trust in Salt Lake City.  After arriving to the Puget Sound area, his banking experience included Bank of the West in Bellevue, Ballard Bank, National Bank of Bremerton, and West Sound Bank's first CEO.  Klaus has been an active participant in the community with the Lions Club, Admiral Theatre, Olympic College Foundation, and others.  Now in his retirement, he is working with the Windermere family in real estate.


Clif McKenzie, Director & Founder

Clif was raised in Bremerton and graduated from the University of Washington in 1979 with a degree in Business.  Upon graduation, he earned his CPA certification and began his career with the public accounting firm of Deloitte Haskins and Sells.  From 1983 forward, Clif and his business partners were involved in several international and domestic business interests and in 1991 acquired Kitsap County based Watson Furniture Group where Clif began serving in his current capacity as President. 


Joseph C. Michelsen, Director & Founder

Joe is a long-time Northwest resident. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Western Washington State University and a Masters from Pepperdine University.  After graduation he became a Navy pilot and was on active duty until 1979.  Since then Joe has been involved in commercial real estate in Kitsap County and the Puget Sound region where he has gained experience in brokerage, development, leasing and sales.  Presently, he is a Commercial Realtor with Windermere Commercial Real Estate.  Joe serves on the board of directors of Pacific Northwest Title of Kitsap County and West Puget Sound Youth for Christ.  He is the President of Kitsap Commercial and Investment Brokers Association-Kitsap County.


William L. Parnell, Chairman & Founder

Bill moved to Washington in 1958 and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Washington in Microbiology in 1965.  Bill has lived in the Kingston area since 1962 and has had a long career in the construction industry in the Puget Sound area.  Bill led the local Building Industry Association, was elected as President of the State Association in 1987, then as the National Representative for Washington State.  He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2001.  Bill has been active in the community, serving on the Kitsap County Planning Commission from 1980 to 1995, and Chairman of the Kitsap Developers Council in 2004.


Jefferey M. Uberuaga, Director & Founder

Jeff grew up in North Kitsap, graduating from North Kitsap High School, and has lived and worked in Poulsbo during his entire career.  He helped start Liberty Bay Auto Center in 1989, building it to a company more than 60 employees and selling his interest in 2010.  Jeff now co-owns and operates the Red Apple stores in both Poulsbo and Bremerton.  He is a member of the Northwest Grocery Association, on the board of the Poulsbo Historical Society, and is very active in community projects.
