Welcome former Banner clients

We are pleased to welcome you to Liberty Bay Bank.  Over the next few weeks you can expect to receive a conversion kit, checks and new debit cards.  While the change of control will formally take place over the weekend, beginning on Saturday, May 12th, you can continue to conduct business as usual until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 11th.

Important Dates & Times

Tuesday, May 8

  • New debit cards and PINs begin arriving in the mail.
  • New checks begin arriving in the mail.

Thursday, May 10

  • 5:00 p.m. – Final Treasury Management ACH file submission.

Friday, May 11 – The “Closing Date.”

  • 4:00 p.m. – Your Banner debit card is deactivated.
  • 5:00 p.m. – Your Banner online banking, mobile banking, Snapshot Check Deposit, and bill pay systems are inactive.
  • 5:00 p.m. – The Poulsbo Banner Bank branch and ATM will close.
  • 6:00 p.m. – Treasury Management and Business Remote Deposit will be deactivated.

Saturday, May 12

  • 12:00 p.m. – You can begin using your Liberty Bay Bank debit card.
  • To activate your card, please call (888) 227-3096.
  • Liberty Bay Bank will be closed for the system conversion.

Monday, May 14 / Welcome Week

  • The Poulsbo Banner Bank branch will not reopen.
  • Liberty Bay Bank will be open. Normal Hours: Monday thru Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
  • Stop by and pick up your goodie bag!

Tuesday, May 15

  • 8:00 a.m.– Liberty Bay Bank online banking and bill pay systems are active.

Answers to Your Questions

Will there be any change to the Banner Bank branch?

It is business as usual at Banner until May 11th. On Monday, May 14th, the Banner Poulsbo location will be permanently closed, and all the deposit accounts and safe deposit boxes will be available at Liberty Bay Bank. Due to the proximity of both locations, we did not purchase the Banner Bank location.

Will direct deposit continue, or do I need to do something?

No, you will need to update your routing number. Our routing number is 125108984. Your account number will remain the same.

Can I still use my checks & debit card?

No, after May 11, 2018, your current Banner Bank checks and debit card need to be destroyed. You will receive new checks and debit cards w/ PINs approximately 4 days prior to the closing date reflecting your new account numbers.

Can I use ATMs without fees at Banner Bank branches?

Yes, with your new Liberty Bay Bank debit card, you can use ANY domestic ATM and the surcharge is automatically deposited back into your account on the next business day following the transaction.

Will my account number change?

No, only the routing number will change. However, your debit card number will change.

Can I still access my Safe Deposit Box?

Yes, after May 11th, your box will be securely transported to its new location with Liberty Bay Bank.

Can I conduct my banking at any Banner Bank location?

No, after May 11, 2018, your banking relationship will be transferred to Liberty Bay Bank. Beginning on Monday, May 14th, you will be able to conduct your routine transactions at Liberty Bay Bank.

Online and Mobile Banking

Are changes planned for the website bannerbank.com?

No, you will need to bookmark our web address: libertybaybank.com

How do I access my online banking service from libertybaybank.com?

You will be auto-enrolled to online banking as you were enrolled at Banner Bank. On Monday, May 14th, you will be able to access online banking by selecting the “login” button on the top of any page at libertybaybank.com. You’ll be taken to another page from which you can choose whether you want to access Online Banking, Remote Deposit Capture, or Business Cash Management. Select the appropriate button and you’ll be taken to the login page.

Will my mobile banking app still be available?

No, you will need to download the Liberty Bay Bank app through the app store. It is free and available via your smartphone or tablet device. The Blue LBB app is for our Consumer/Small Business Online Banking and the Orange LBB app is for the Cash Management system. Or from our website: libertybaybank.com/remote-deposit-capture/

Can I sign up for mobile banking?

Yes. Download our app via your smartphone or tablet device. You must be a registered user in our Online Banking or Cash Management system before you can log into the App.

Credit Cards and Loans

I have a Banner Bank credit card (personal or business). Will that change?

No, unless you choose to close your credit card and apply for one with us, please make payments directly to Banner Bank.

Where/how do I make a loan payment?

Continue to make loan payments to Banner Bank as you do today. Auto-payments may need to be re-established after the closing date.

I am in the process of taking out a loan. Do I need to reapply?

No, your loan will remain with Banner Bank. Liberty Bay Bank does offer consumer, residential and commercial loans to our clients.

General Questions

Are my deposits FDIC insured?

Yes. If you currently have accounts at Banner Bank and Liberty Bay Bank, you will want to review your banking relationship with us and restructure accounts if necessary.

I am concerned about my privacy. What measures do you take to protect me?
